Original 1930's four arm brass chandelier, retreived from an old manor house in Cambridge that was undergoing extensive refurbishment. This is the largest and most ornate of the six chandeliers retrieved. Due to its size could have been the one at the top of the main staircase. Unusual in that there are four brass Griffins on the barley twist central shaft. The makers mark (A.T ) is stamped on each of the scroll arm supports. It weighs in at 4 kilos and is 88cm high from tip of ornate base to top of embossed ceiling mount.It comes with the four original undamaged clear glass ribbed shades. It has been cleaned, refurbished, polished and rewired to current standards and professionally tested.
